Access Pro users can start running projects by using different supply mixes within a target group.
Quotas on suppliers feature help users to be more efficient when running projects with different supply allocations. Users have the option to create quotas on suppliers by creating groups and selecting the panels they want to use. Clients running trackers can use the same supply mix and maintain data consistency.
The projects overall progress can be monitored efficiently even when mixed with different supply sources. Quotas on suppliers will enable clients to become more cost-efficient, by optimizing the usage of their own panels first and later sampling from the external marketplace.
To use Quotas on suppliers:
- Go to the Audience pane and click 'Supply mix'
- Create a supply selection by clicking 'Add supply selection'
- Choose the supply source you want to use
- Choose the panels you want to include in the supply mix
- Edit the selection name to your preference and click 'create'
- Repeat 1-5 steps as many times as you need to create supply mixes from different supply sources
Once you're done, you will need to define the ratio between the different supply mixes you have created. The ratio must be a whole number between 0-100.
You can also go back and edit the supply mix by choosing different panels or changing the name of the group. If you don't need the supply mix, you can also delete it.
Each supply mix will show you the wanted completes and how feasible the supply mix will be.
FAQ
I cannot see the rate card in the target group where I have used a supply mix
At this time, you will be able to only see the average price of the supply mixes you have created within the target group. If you need to see what the price is for each supply mix, you can add a 0 value in the supply mixes, when you are defining the ratio between the supply mixes. Then add a 100% value for one of the supply mixes you wish to find out the price for. Repeat this step for the rest of supply mixes you have.
Is there a way for me to save the supply mix as a template and reuse it for another project?
You can create a draft with the needed supply mix and keep using that as a template. Another option is to reuse all target groups from an existing project that contains the supply mix you need in your new project.
How does the supply mix help my project be more cost-effective?
You can create supply mixes that contain your own panels, private pricing, and the external marketplace. You can then optimize your own panel by collecting completes from that source first before sampling from the external marketplace.
Which supply sources are available to be used with the supply mix functionality?
At this time, you can use Insight Exchange Panels, Private Pricing, and My Panels. Ad hoc supply and specific panelist is currently not available to be used with this functionality.
Can I use a panel in multiple supply mixes?
You can choose to use a panel in one supply mix per target group. Once the panel has been chosen, it will be greyed out and you will not be able to choose it again for another supply mix.
