Feasibility in Access estimates number of completes for a certain study at a given time.
Access considers many different aspects of your project in order to provide you with the estimated feasibility:
Country
Panel partners works in a variety of countries, so feasibility will vary per country.
Project Categories
Before you setup your target groups, you indicate which categorie(s) your study is about. Select just the main one(s). This determined which panels you can use, affecting feasibility.
RII (Respondent Identifiable Information)
Turn the RII Project Setting on, to indicate your project is collecting Respondent Identifiable Information. This further determined which panels you can use, affecting feasibility.
Device compatibility
By default, feasibility assumes the survey is available on mobile, tablet and desktop. If your survey is not compatible with any of these devices, then you should consider lowering the Estimated IR, expect lower feasibility count, and notify Cint when ordering a project. The device usage per country might be of help, but as a general rule of thumb, your feasibility will be at least 30% lower if your survey is not mobile friendly.
If Cint is informed of this, we will not allow respondents using the unsupported device to enter your study. Those respondents will be marked as “technical terminate”.
Need of webcam and Flash
By default, feasibility assumes the survey does not require the panelist to use a webcam or have Flash installed on their device. If your survey has such requirements, then you should consider lowering the Estimated IR, expect lower feasibility count, and notify Cint when ordering a project.
Panelist Attributes
Of course, the panelists have to match your targeting requirement.
If a panelist has not answered the targeting question you are after then he is a non-match, and if the panelist has not answered a targeting question you do not specify, it is a match. For example if you have not targeted Education level, all panelists are counted in, including those that has not answered the question.
Quarantine
If a panelist is in quarantine throughout the field period, it is not included in feasibility.
Historical response rate
Each panelist has an individual forecasted response rate based on his/her historical response patterns.
Drop Out Rate
Drop-out rate increases with the length of the interview. For example Access includes up to 7% Drop-out rate for studies less than 10 min.
Estimated Incidence Rate
Feasibility will take into account your estimation of incidence rate. If real IR turns out to be lower that the estimation, feasibility will be over-estimated.
Estimated Length of Interview
Feasibility will take into account your estimation of Length of Interview (LOI) in two ways. If real LOI is higher in field that the estimation, feasibility will be over-estimated since Drop Out Rate (DOR) most likely will be higher than estimated.
Also, some panels do not allow long studies and if your study is longer than the panel setting, the applicable panel will not be included in your feasibility estimation.
Field period
Field period will affect feasibility due to quarantine rules. Panelists already booked for other studies during the selected field period won't be counted as available for your study.
Very short field periods: you might find that feasibility estimates to collect 10,000 completes in one day. Even though theoretically that would be possible, operationally it is not. The time it will take to test and soft launch your project will depend on when you want to launch, in which language and country, your survey setup, etc. Please contact us for more information when wanting to run very short field periods.
Please note sample is not booked when ordering a project. Sample is booked when respondents are invited to the project
The respondents behavior history when being invited to studies
The algorithm takes into consideration each individual respondent's behavior history, which is much more accurate than working with invitations. Inviting 100 respondents might yield 80 completes if the selected crowd is made of active panelists, but might yield 5 completes if the panelists aren’t very active. This is why Access and Access Pro actually look at every respondent’s behavior in the past study invites they got. Then the system chooses the best available for your study at that point in time.
Push Supply feasibility
'Push' is a Cint proprietary term that refers to panels not fully integrated into Insights Exchange, but connected through API. 'Push' is not 'river' sample.
Push Supply feasibility is estimated on historical data of the supplier and the data from the regular (invitation based) panels. Push Supply Panelists do not receive a survey email invite from Cint, the Push Supplier is the one that notifies their panelists of current surveys, for example through a mobile app or member's website.
