This will come in handy when you might not want to run the project, but you'd like to do a feasibility and price check and run the project at a later stage. Instead of starting over with setting up the project at a later stage, you can save it as a draft.
It is also good for when you run many similar projects, as you can create a template and just tweak it as you need it.
Access will always keep your saved your drafts so that you can get back to them whenever you need them.
Start setting up the project with the details you have and, instead of clicking the 'Create Project' button, click 'Save draft'.
Give your draft a unique name. If you rework a draft and save it with the same name, the changes will overwrite the old draft.
All your saved drafts are listed on the dashboard under the 'Drafts' tab. From here you can see when the draft was created, when it was last saved(overwritten) and also get the possibility to delete it.
Please note: creating a draft does not book sample. A draft saves only the settings of your project and when you reload it, feasibility will be checked again.
For some users of the same company, draft projects are commonly visible. Please be aware that simultaneous editing of a draft is not supported in Access so if you plan to make changes please make sure nobody else is working on the draft.
